CDH UK welcomes all families to it's annual Family Get Together in Chesterfield, Derbyshire hosted by the Hills Family. This is the first Get Together of 2013, with others being announced shortly. Our Family Get Together's are an opportunity for families affected by CDH to come together for a chat and a coffee to share experiences and to offer support to each other. We also have a workshop session during the afternoon whereby we discuss a topic relating to CDH.

This is an informal and relaxed day and there will be activities and a play area for children. Light refreshments will be provided and awareness items will be available to purchase on the day. There will also be information available about fundraising for CDH UK.

Without the support, dedication and hard work of our fundraisers our charity could not exist. Our supporters continue to amaze us! People who never thought they would be able to run a mile are running 13 and 26 miles! People who never baked a cake are baking dozens! People who have never organised a birthday party are organising Balls and themed nights! People who don't like travelling in planes are jumpimg out of them! People who have little time to themselves are making time to help our cause! You are all CDHeroes whether you walk, run, sell, bake, dance or jump out of planes and you all not only raise vital funds for our registered charity to enable us to help families and further our aims & objectives, but you are helping to raise awareness too!! On 15th My 2012 we launched a campaign requesting Government Funding for research into the cause of CDH. We require 100,000 signatures by this time next year to get this request before the House Of Commons; this is a big call and a lot of signatures. Can we do this? We are certainly going to try!! Our Second CDH UK annual ball was held at Brighouse Sports and Social Club on Saturday 10th of Sept. Everyone had an absolutely fabulous time with a great band,great food and two lovely special guest Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden from the Emmerdale Farm TV show. We raised a fantastic amount of money and spent a great evening raising of awareness of CDH to the wider community. Below are the final figures for this great event.  On the night Total  of £4,359  Profit on the sale of the tickets was £1794, Auction £2000, raffle bands and badges £565 We would like to thank everybody who helped make this evening possible in their own special way.

Not to be missed! We are pleased to announce the date for the annual CDH UK Charity Ball 2011. It will be held on Saturday 10th September 2011 at The Brighouse Sports Club, Russell Way, Bradford Rd, Brighouse, West Yorkshire starting at 7.30pm until 1.00am  Last year saw 160 people come together for an evening of CDH Awareness, rememberence, honour, fundraising and entertainment. This was a fantastic evening with over £5000 raised for our charity; we hope that this year's ball will be even more successful. Our special guests this year are two members of the cast from the Hit TV soap 'Emmerdale' and of course our CDH families! we have the fantastic 'Helter Skelter' live band providing some very danceable tunes and we also have a little magical entertainment for you on the evening too Tickets will be available from 1st April 2011 and are £25.00 per head including 3 course hot buffet supper. This is a black tie event, so dig out your suits & best evening gowns/dresses! The evening will consist of a memorial balloon release, 3 course buffet supper, guest speaker, Live music & entertainment plus a DJ, fundraising activities & auction.
